Dear users. The Net platform has been updated with 6 additional plant species and up-to-date microarray data. The network itself and clusters have therefore changed. We apologize for any inconveniences.
Welcome to AraNet (Arabidopsis Network), a subdivision of PlaNet (Plant Network) for Arabidopsis thaliana.
AraNet is a platform of web-tools dedicated to visualization of transcriptomic co-expression networks for Arabidopsis thaliana.
The platform combines available expression, sequence and phenotypic data together with Mapman ontology analysis. Please visit the Frequently Asked Questions FAQ sections for introduction to the concepts of the PlaNet platform.
Major features of the platform include:
Meta-network, that depicts the organisation of clusters of co-expressed genes.
HCCA obtained clusters of co-expressed genes.
Gene specific pages, containing the information about gene expression, available phenotypic data and MapMan ontology analysis
NetworkComparer pipeline, which permits comparative analysis of co-expression networks across the seven plant species.
To start using AraNet, search the gene, cluster of genes or Mapman terms of interest using the options below.
1. Search the gene of interest by typing in AGI code (e.g. At4g39350), probeset ID (252886_at), or keyword (e.g. kinase) into the box below. You can specify multiple search term, each in new line. Click on Search button to start the search.
2. Alternatively, you can browse the Meta-network of co-expressed clusters.
3. You can also view the Mapman network of co-expressed biological terms and the enrichment of Mapman terms within clusters.
4. You can also use protein or nucleotide sequence as a query by using Blast2probeset tool (found in the menu above).
If you are using Internet Explorer and cannot see the networks, download the Adobe SVG viewer here.
All data used to create this platform, together with stand-alone version of the platform is available here.
